Mr Sim Quee Lai: Nature's Gem

Tanah Aina is nature’s gem, waiting to be discovered. It’s nestled harmoniously within a beautiful valley, dotted with fruit-laden durian trees. Access involves a bumpy, one kilometer ride on a 4x4 over steep, undulating terrain, finally bursting onto a magnificent view of Tanah Aina. It’s almost surreal. The tranquillity of this place...is enchanting. The gurgling sounds of the cool inviting waters from a gentle flowing creek, shaded in most parts by majestic looking trees – is so alluring and magical. I only hope that those who visit this beautiful and well-maintained place, will be lovingly and caringly disposed towards the beauty of Mother Nature.

There’s much to see and do, whilst here. So as to be close to Mother Nature, day and night, we had standing-height tents that could comfortably take in 4 people – as our choice of abode for the duration of our stay.

Meals – we were spoilt for choice. It was laid out at a tastefully designed gazebo alongside the bubbly waters of the creek. Believe you me, hunger creeps in fast, when you soak in the sights and sounds of Tanah Aina. From treks along steep undulating terrain into the pristine and mysterious deeps of primary jungle, to the pummelling massage of the waterfall, and the adrenalin pumping dive into a deep pond – leaves one, therapeutically exhausted and hungry.

Sabrina, our exquisite hostess, saw to our comfort and safety, all the while we were at Tanah Aina. We were pampered with 5-star treatment – all these in the deeps of the jungle. Why, her team was even attentive to our smallest whims.

Creature comforts were not forgotten. The bathrooms had expensive tap fittings. I hope those using it will be caring in its use. Expensive organic shampoos and soaps were provided so that its use would not sully the pristine waters of the creek.

For a really meaningful stay at Tanah Aina, about a 4 to 5 night stay would be lovely. And the pleasures of this place would be best enjoyed in the company of at least a minimum of 15 to 20 people.

Sabrina, thanks for the magic. “

Marziah Yahya: Sublime

If one truly wants to have an "experience" of Malaysian natural surrounding, Tanah Aina is it. My group of friends were not briefed of the place before going, and I purposely did not want to. They were pleasantly surprised. We converged at Tanah Aina Azareena and that was the start of seeing my friends' eyes turning from "urbanoids" eyes to "pleasantly happy" eyes.

The feeling of being at ease with nature continued when we arrived at the camping site Tanah Aina Farah Soraya.  Somehow, the soul got cleansed with the sight and sound of nature. Truly wonderful site! Service was above excellence - airlines can learn from the host of Tanah Aina. The little details made a lot of difference - attentiveness, prompt, friendly, clean, good food, safety conscious, comfortable tents (bunk beds with plump pillows, covered with fresh linens), aroma thingy, little touches here and there. Oh and those wonderful waterfalls, small challenge of a trek. Kids were running around the camp like it's theirs. We had a sublime experience and mere words could not do justice. One has to be there to appreciate the effort taken by the owner to turn the world into a nice place to live in, and be in awe of God's gift to us. Thank you for having us there and for sharing a peace of heaven to us mere mortals ("urbanoids"). God bless.

Sook Fang Stetski: UNEXPECTED PLEASURE at Tanah Aina Farrah Soraya

I have experienced camping in different parks in Canada, but this has been a very nice change..I would call this " LUXURY CAMPING." I felt pampered. This is a very beautiful place and I hope that the environment of the natural beauty will be preserved and taken care for many years to come.

I have been to a few natural parks such as at the islands in M'sia and other places in Thailand, unfortunately, I see rubbish littered all over the place, whereas the parks in N. America are much cleaner because the people there are more mindful about preserving the natural beauty ( this does not mean they do things perfectly either.)

RE foor: They are all delicious, but perhaps can include a couple of "kids friendly" foods like nuggets and fries :)

Thank you Sabrina for personally overseeing our stay this last weekend. I appreciate your thoroughness in all aspects and that you strive to provide the best service possible...

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Given a chance I would stay here again.

Iskandar and Nurul: Mr and Mrs

Hi. My comments are a bit lengthy but allow me to share with you a simply wonderful physical and emotional experience anyway. My wife and I had the unexpected opportunity to see for ourselves the beauty of Tanah Aina at Lentang, Bentong and Raub in Pahang a few days ago. Initially, we thought that it was going to be one of those banal trips to a typical eco resort, the ones that we’ve been to before, seen on TV or read about in magazines or the papers. Thought it was like the ‘been to done that’ thing and that we would probably end up feeling very tired, full stop. Nevertheless, we were equally curious as to whether the place itself was as good-looking as the fancy brochures and booklets we got.

The truth is, it was beyond brochures and booklets. Seeing is believing…you simply got to be ‘there’ and you can never ever get bored or tired seeing and experiencing nature naturally. Although running a very tight schedule, the hosts were so gracious enough to take us to witness first-hand the serenity and splendor of all the aptly named Tanah Aina Fareena, Azareena, Farrah Soraya and Farouq, the distance of which are minutes of each other.

The thing was, we found that each of the Tanah Ainas unique in itself. There were lots and lots clean fresh air to begin with, an expanse of panoramic view given the plethora of refreshing greens of all sorts to feast your eyes on all around you, acres upon acres of organically-maintained fruit orchards, and herbs, ponds, free-flowing natural cool streams, waterfalls and lakes...a brilliant and superb solution to the scorching heat, a cool getaway so-to-speak. There were obviously lots of space for camping and other great exciting outdoor activities too. You know, each time we arrive at one location, it was as if we had arrived at a new place altogether! All the Tanah A
