Imagine waking up in the morning to the crooning of the rooster in the nearby kampung, being greeted by the cool morning breeze and the ruffling of leaves, to the sounds of the playful gentle winds, the soft morning sun on your face as you gorge in deep breaths of clean fresh invigorating air; sounds of the blissful melody of the birds in the skies, of the nearby clear flowing streams. Imagine feasting your sights on the simple serene sceneries, the clear blue skies, feeling terribly good all day…unhurried in any way away from the frenzied and madness of city life…Then night descends bringing with it a certain tranquility and a deafening yet welcomed silence broken only by tiny insects flickering in the night and wandering nocturnal creatures and you sleep restfully peacefully unperturbed cradled in the comfort of the thick dark night…morning sun and the beautiful day begins and you find your senses being welcomed yet again by the natural and simple pleasures of life with nature… this is the irresistible alluring lure of Tanah Aina… an hours drive east from the concrete jungles of Kuala Lumpur.

Tanah Aina or ‘Aina’s Land’ literally is founded and owned by an admirable lady as an icon of her deep passion, enthusiasm and genuine love towards Mother Nature. Started off as a mere hobby, the land was originally intended to create and protect a new and better environment by preserving as much of the forest as possible and retaining the natural concept of Mother Nature so that future generations will be able to continue to enjoy and experience the fresh clean air while feasting their sights on the simplicities of the natural surroundings.

The name ‘Aina’ in itself is taken from the name of the founder and owner. The property consists of five separate pieces of land namely an 8-acre land named Tanah Aina Farrah Soraya at Raub, Tanah-Aina Farhana at Sungai Pangsun and Sungai Congkak both at Ulu Langat. A 12-acre Tanah-Aina Fareena located at Lentang, Bentong. A 12-acre Tanah Aina Azareena and a 48-acre Tanah Aina Farouq both at Raub.

Tanah Aina Farrah Soraya is a piece of land that holds countless of nature’s treasures. Some 30-minute walk from the main road, one will be welcomed by the mesmerizing natural landscape before journeying into the hidden natural treasures. Hidden away amongst a veritable treasure trove of tropical plants and huge trees, one will be able to enjoy the captivating sight and sound of the original and untouched waterfall and streams alongside the jungle tracks. Nothing compares to the joyous experience and authentic pleasures of natural streams and the pristine waterfall.

Tanah-Aina Farhana is unique in the sense that it consists of two pieces of land of four acres each located at two separate locations. The first consists of a durian orchard and gushing through this orchard is Sungai Pangsun with its deep clear water suitable for water sports activities such as kayaking or white water rafting. The second piece of land which is a little further in from the Ulu Langat mainroad, is a very hilly orchard with a variety of local fruits delight. Besides the sweet smell of the forest and the seemingly busy yet pleasing sounds of a multitude of insects unseen, a small stream flows through this piece of land which is rich in natural flora. 269 steps await those with strong legs and spirits and who are adventorous enough to scale the steps to get to the top of the orchard.

Tanah Aina Azareen,
on the other hand, is an orchard of fruits and flowers. For those who want to experience a peaceful outing or a cheerful family picnic, this 12-acre land might just be the answer. Unlike the 8-acre Tanah Aina Farrah, the 12-acre expanse welcomes one with enthralling and peaceful sceneries. No tricky passages and adventurous muddy paths to walk through, but the pleasure of natural and fresh air.

As with the 12-acre Tanah Aina Azreena, Tanah Aina Fareena at Lentang has a variety of fruits to delight in. The only difference being that when one wants to explore Lentang, one has to trudge the nearby hills and experience the fascinating view of the Karak Highway from above.

Tanah-Aina Farouq is a vast 48-acre expanse, an orchard planted mostly with durians and some pulasan trees. Part of the orchard is located on lowland with the rest on high grounds. A fast flowing stream rushes and stretches the entire length of the orchard. There are 4 fresh-water fish ponds which come with a nice place to get together with loved ones and barbeque.
